Pallet Coffee Table

 We love pallets at P&P! With this project we had a customer who wanted to revamp her home. She has a huge living space with two full size sofas and two chairs surrounding her family's entertaining space. All that was missing was a rustic coffee table to tie everything together. We put together and aged pallets, added steel castors and a glass top for functionality.

Transformation Thursday

Now Happy Transformation Thursday everyone! It's been some time since our last post so I'll give you a few transformations that we have been working on.

This dresser was in bad shape, now it's an elegant sleek dresser.

Project day!

What a gloomy monday it is! Well for most that means an extra cup of coffee becomes a necessity but for us it means a great day to get some projects done, well and some extra fun shopping done. We finished up a custom order side table done in an Espresso brown with a dark glaze and wax. We also played around with some natural ways to weather wood, doesn't old weathered wood just make you swoon? We may have just found the secret to achieving that look without leaving the wood outside for an extended period of time or by using some crazy chemicals. As soon as we master it we will be sure to share some photos. We also went to a favorite store and found some beautiful treasures, we were like two kids in a candy store it was that amazing. Here is a sneak peak, can you already imagine the pieces these can go on? We sure can!! We are also going to begin work on this old dresser it needs quite a bit of love on the outside but the drawers and hardware are in great condition. 

 

Welcome!

Welcome to our new blog! We are so excited to have this up and running now. It's been on our "to-do" list for a bit but we have been busy busy busy painting and restocking our shop. What a blessing! Our goal for this blog is to have postings often about which piece (or pieces) we are currently working on, a description of the process and not forgetting the best, before and after pictures! That's where we can all really admire the transformation. Most of the time we have several projects going at once, big ones, small ones, custom ones.. you name it! So there will be new things to see all the time. Check back often or sign up to receive E-mails from us when there is a new posting.
